The 44mm IRIS X Diaphragm HF compression driver used on the X12 is equally robust in design – using a solid aluminum rear plate, the HF driver is strengthened for durability and heat is dissipated efficiently during prolonged time periods.

Wharfedale Pro engineers have also selected a 90° x 60° elliptical waveguide optimised for wide coverage in multiple venues while touring.

The cabinet of the DVP X12 has been developed to work in perfect harmony with the advanced drive units within.

Special attention has been paid to the acoustic properties of the port and port mouth to ensure a huge bass output with detail and minimised distortion.

The crossovers ensure perfect integration between the drive units and acoustic properties of the cabinet. Electronic components are carefully selected,

while over-complex networks have been avoided to maintain a pure and strong audio signal.

Engineers have fine tuned the crossover points for vocal intelligibility and tuned the high frequencies for long-throw to ensure clear coverage right to the back of your venue.
